Work Experience

  • Provided authoring services to Sizewell B nuclear power station 
    • Documentation support for work packages to replace Main Generator Hydrogen Gas Dryers, upgrade Reactor Building HVAC Chillers and the Cooling Pond Fuel Handling Machine
    • Reviewed existing documentation, establish management system for Project Quality publications and create new / upgraded Plant Operating and Maintenance instructions to meet the rigorous safety standards of the nuclear industry
  • Provided authoring services to EDF Energy Nuclear Fuel Route Improvement Project
    • Documentation - Extensive use of Microsoft Office and previous nuclear experience to produce a suite of Governance, Oversight, Support & Perform (GOSP) documentation in the support of improvements to the nuclear fuel management process for EDF’s fleet of Advanced Gas-cooled Reactors.
  • Provided authoring services to a high-profile government agency for a project delivering multiple secure IT connectivity systems:

    • Wide range of documentation including user guides, design specifications and training aids

    • Technical illustrations including system, network and process flow diagrams

    • Training services including Training Needs Analysis, course design and course delivery

    delivering analyst software applications:
    • Documentation - Field user guides, installation instructions, test specifications
    • Illustrations - Sketched site, room and rack layouts and then produced drawings in Microsoft Visio
